Google doc ninja challenge

Today me and my class tried the Google doc ninja challenge, cause we saw our buddy class ( Matawai School room 4) blogging all about it and it looked and sounded cool.  I found it quite easy to get the white, green and red belts.
I also drew this cool unicorn.


Today I made it all the way up to black belt and finished it. . .

The colour run

KIA ORA EVERYBODY
 On Friday the 26th of October  I didn't go to the colour run , you might think this sounds boring but it was really fun staying at school, we got to colour pages, learn how to do a four braid , make the statue of liberty out of news paper and do math which i found fun and yes i do wish i went to the colour run but at the end of the day i had fun and got to spend time with my friends.

Was there  a day at school were you didn't have to do any thing?

News reports

This week we are writing  news reports, today we are writing a news report about NZ playhouse
an the play that they did for us.  it was hilarious and everyone had a good time.

word of the day

This week me and my class have been doing a word of the day.

the words we had this week were : Abundant,petite,trinket roam and tenacious.

we had to write the definition, a synonym, an antonym, make it a part of speech and put it in a sentence, for example:

petite

definition:
(of a woman) attractively small and dainty.
(of a normal object) small

Synonym
tiny

Antonym
huge

Part of speech: adjective 

Sentence
i have a petite apatite.

that's normally how we have to construct our word of the day in our contract books.

Hey everybody we made some clay art a while back and i wanted to show you. here it is



what type of art do you do ?

ice skating

last Friday we went "ice" skating
by that i mean that we were skating on plastic it was just as cool and less sore when you fell on your butt
it was so much fun and and i learnt how to not fall as easy, luckily i only fell four times but the first time marshall pushed me here are some photos

matariki

Kia ora every one

Today we learnt how to do this cool matariki pattern with this lovely woman called whaea Ali. This pattern shows nine stars.

we all learnt how to make a balm from
Eucalyptus and lavender essential oils  along with coconut oil and bees wax it smelt amazing.
We all got to smell the essential oils and we got to use a little bit of coconut oil as lip balm, it melted on my finger immediately, it worked pretty well as lip balm.

what i learnt about matariki

Hi every body i've been learning about matariki and I learnt that there are two meanings to matariki  mata ariki (eyes of god) and mata riki (little eyes).

and I thought that it was interesting
and fun to learn.

What else did i learn about matariki?
That it is a cluster of stars and not a constellation.
